Make your own ottoman

To build an ottoman from scratch I started by taking 1 by 4s and cutting them to the size I needed. Then I used an electric screw driver to make a frame. After it was screwed together I sanded off all the pointy corners.

Next I took the feet off of a discarded arm chair and screwed them into the bottom. It takes a lot of screwing to get a good ottoman. After that I stapled quilt batting to the outside of the frame.

Next I took a cushion from a discarded couch and put it on top of the frame and used some leather from another discarded couch and stapled it around the outside.

Then you have a useable ottoman.
