Sewing party

Do you have so mending to do and need some motivation or did your friends suddenly get lives and you need to bribe them to come over?* Have a sewing party. Tell everyone to bring anything that needs mending or old clothes that need to be re-purposed. Have people to bring needles, buttons, sewing machines, etc. Just have fun.

Red chair

I have now finished painting the chair red. All it took was some stripper, some sandpaper and red spray paint. As I was painting it though, I notice the legs wear a little wobbly so I asked my dad for suggestions. He went over and wobbled it so hard the one leg fell off then said “I don’t know sandpaper the longer legs?” (He’s the best engineer ever). After I wood glued the leg back on my mother suggested I glue felt to the bottoms of the shorter legs. This seemed to have worked. Tomorrow I’m planning on painting a graphic on it and put on a clear coat. I think it should turn out nicely.
